Estonia's capital will host the last round of the men's World Championship and will decide the Women's title
The Unibet Arena in Tallinn will host the eighth and final round of the X-Trial World Championship next Saturday, April 26, starting at 16:00 (CET). With the top spots in the standings already decided, the world's best riders will aim to finish the indoor season on a high note, free from the extra pressure of chasing championship points.
Toni Bou (Repsol Honda Trial Team) arrives in Estonia looking to claim his sixth win of the season after finishing second in Cahors, where he secured another World Championship title. Meanwhile, Jaime Busto (GasGas), who has already locked in second place overall, hopes to repeat his victory from last year, while Gabriel Marcelli (Repsol Honda Trial Team) continues chasing his first career win—one that has narrowly eluded him on several occasions.
Making his individual debut with Electric Motion, after riding it in the X-Trial FIM des Nations, Benoit Bincaz will aim for his fourth final of the year. Alex Canales (Montesa) is chasing his second Top 4 finish of the season, and Jack Peace (Sherco) is determined to break into his first final after just missing out in Wiener Neustadt.
Sondre Haga (GasGas) arrives in Estonia hoping to place his electric bike higher than the sixth position he achieved in Madrid, while Billy Green (Scorpa) looks to continue his growth in this discipline and improve on his eighth-place finish in Clermont-Ferrand.
On the other hand, the FIM X-Trial Women’s Trophy will take place on Friday the 25th at 18:00 (CET), featuring six riders and determining the final winner of this brand-new competition, which debuted this season with a total of three rounds. Berta Abellán (Scorpa) holds a strong advantage after winning the rounds in Barcelona and Stavanger. Andrea Sofía Rabino (Beta) and Denisa Pechackova (TRRS) are tied with 27 points, trailing the Spaniard by 13 points, although the Czech rider won’t be participating in this final event. British rider Alice Minta (Beta) has 14 points, followed by France’s Naomi Monnier (Beta) with 12, and Norway’s Huldeborg Barkved (TRRS) with 9. Estonia’s own Keity Meier (TRRS) will make her debut in the competition.
