X-Trial Chambéry

Le Phare, Chambéry opened in 2009, two years after construction work started.  

Its multifunctionality allows up to ten different spaces to be created, hosting varying numbers of spectators from small groups up to thousands.  As a sporting venue it has hosted just over 5,000 spectators, while for concerts its capacity is as many as 15,000.  

Since its inauguration it has held several different types of shows as well as sporting events.  It is currently home to the French handball team Chambéry Savoie Mont-Blanc.
