Arnau Farré Returns at Cahors premiere

Last appearance of the Spanish rider in the World Championship was in 2018

The 2025 FIM X-Trial World Championship will welcome its 18th participant—a new record—this season as it heads to the Parc des Expositions in Cahors. On Saturday, the 22nd, the venue will host the seventh round of the season, kicking off at 8:00 PM (local time), just a week after the X-Trial in Wiener Neustadt.

This time, it’s Spain’s Arnau Farré (Sherco) who is making his return to the World Championship after a long absence. Farré last competed in the series back in 2018, when he made his debut at the X-Trial Vendée, finishing ninth. He missed the following three events before participating in Barcelona, where he suffered a serious injury. Since then, he has not taken part in any World Championship rounds.

The event will also mark the return of Hugo Dufrese (Beta). He competed in two rounds so far, securing two seventh-places finish  as his best results.

Meanwhile, Jack Peace (Sherco) and Sondre Haga (GasGas) will be contesting their third event of the season too. The British rider competed just last Saturday in Wiener Neustadt, while Haga’s last appearance in the World Championship was in Stavanger.

They will be joined by the four riders who have competed in every round so far: Championship leader and reigning World Champion Toni Bou (Repsol Honda Trial Team), Jaime Busto (GasGas), Gabriel Marcelli (Repsol Honda Trial Team), and Benoit Bincaz (Sherco).
