Provisional calendar unveiled for the 2025 season

The X-Trial World Championship returns to a full winter calendar with eight Rounds in six countries

The big news for next season is that it will once again be held in a single block, starting this year in December 2024 and ending in April 2025, so the 2026 season would start in October 2025 until April 2026, and so on.

The world's best riders will visit six countries competing in eight events in addition to the X-Trial des Nations.

The campaign opens on 21st December with the sixteenth staging of X-Trial Madrid and at a new venue, the Palacio Vistalegre. In the new year, the series takes on its own ‘tour de France’ with X-Trial Chambéry and X-Trial Clermont-Ferrand added for the first time.

X-Trial Barcelona, now in its 48th year, maintains its regular slot on the opening weekend of February. The X-Trial World Championship then moves on to Norway for the inaugural X-Trial Stavanger.  After that the riders will travel to Colombia for the first ever X-Trial Medellín.

Meanwhile the sport heads back to Austria for the first time since 2023 with X-Trial Wiener Neustadt.

The date for the 2025 season finale will be 26th April.  But the name of the city is still to be confirmed.

The X-Trial of Nations makes its return for the first time since 2019, at its traditional venue of Nice that has previously hosted the event on no less than four occasions.
