The X-Trial World Championship returns to a full winter calendar with eight Rounds in six countries
Season 28 of the FIM X-Trial World Championship will start this December and conclude in the spring.
The campaign opens on 21st December with the sixteenth staging of X-Trial Madrid and at a new venue, the Palacio Vistalegre. In the new year, the series takes on its own ‘tour de France’ with X-Trial Chambéry and X-Trial Clermont-Ferrand added for the first time.
X-Trial Barcelona, now in its 48th year, maintains its regular slot on the opening weekend of February. The X-Trial World Championship then moves on to Norway for the inaugural X-Trial Stavanger. After that the riders will travel to Colombia for the first ever X-Trial Medellín.
Meanwhile the sport heads back to Austria for the first time since 2023 with X-Trial Wiener Neustadt.
The date for the 2025 season finale will be 26th April. But the name of the city is still to be confirmed.
The X-Trial of Nations makes its return for the first time since 2019, at its traditional venue of Nice that has previously hosted the event on no less than four occasions.
