Grattarola and Green return to the Championship in the third Round of the season
Two riders will kick off their 2025 FIM X-Trial World Championship season this Friday at 20:00 (local time) at the Zenith d’Auvergne during the X-Trial Clermont-Ferrand. They are Matteo Grattarola (Beta) and Billy Green (Scorpa).
Grattarola is set to compete in his first event of the season after participating in four rounds of last year’s Championship, where he finished seventh overall in the 2024 season. His best result last year was a fourth-place finish in Barcelona.
Meanwhile, British rider Billy Green will make his second appearance in the X-Trial World Championship after debuting in Andorra la Vella in 2023.
Both riders will join six others who competed in the X-Trial Chambéry. Among them are last Saturday’s podium finishers—Toni Bou (Repsol Honda Trial Team), Jaime Busto (GasGas), and Gabriel Marcelli (Repsol Honda Trial Team)—as well as Adam Raga (Sherco), the fourth one in the Final.
Local representation will be led by Benoit Bincaz (Sherco), who narrowly missed out on a podium finish in his hometown event, and Hugo Dufrese (Beta), who will be competing in his fifth X-Trial World Championship round.
With these eight top riders, the debut of Clermont-Ferrand as a World Championship venue promises an electrifying show. Follow the action live and enjoy the competition at https://fim-moto.tv .
