Barcelona and Stavanger will host the first Women's World Trophy

The first FIM Women's X-Trial World Trophy gets underway with two rounds

The first edition of the Women's X-Trial World Trophy created by the FIM and the World Championship promoter ESDEUX will feature two rounds, those of Barcelona (Spain) and Stavanger (Norway). Both will include the women's competition in their respective rounds that count towards the FIM X-Trial World Championship, which are the fourth and fifth rounds of the 2025. Women will compete between Q1 and Q2 of each round.

The Barcelona event at the Palau Sant Jordi will be held on February 2nd as part of the Barcelona X-Trial for the third consecutive year. The promoter of this event, RPM, was the pioneer organizer of women's indoor competitions, including it in the program of its men's event. Emma Bristow won in 2023 and Berta Abellán did it last year

One week after competing in Barcelona, the World Championship will move to Norway, and Stavanger, will debut as a venue of the FIM X-Trial World Championship on February 8th including the second round of the Women's World Trophy at the DNB Arena.

The goal of the FIM and ESDEUX is to consolidate the women's competition, encourage the growth and development of the riders who compete in it and open de door to more participants around the world following the same strategy carried out in other disciplines of motorcycling racing.
